Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information The Galxee Group LLC ("we," "us"), the operator of Bestseller Press, collects when you use bestsellerpress.online (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. Short version: we collect what we need to run your account and write your books, we don't sell your data, and we don't run ad trackers.

1. Information we collect

• Account information: your email address, display name, and password. Passwords are stored only as a secure hash — we can't see them.
• Your content: the research runs, topic choices, book blueprints, chapters, and edits you create in the Service.
• Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We keep a record of your purchases (what you bought, when, and the amount) and your Stripe customer and subscription IDs.
• Technical information: session cookies that keep you logged in, and standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and request times) used for security and troubleshooting.

2. How we use it

• To create and secure your account and keep you logged in.
• To run market research and generate your book content.
• To process payments, manage subscriptions, and track your free trial and book credits.
• To respond to support requests and send important account or billing messages.
• To prevent abuse, fraud, and misuse of the Service.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service, and only what they need:

• Anthropic — the AI provider that performs research and writes content. Your topic choices, blueprints, and chapter text are sent to Anthropic to generate results.
• Stripe — processes payments and manages subscriptions.
• Floot — hosts the Service, its database, and its infrastructure.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users' safety, or as part of a merger or sale of the business (in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information).

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Stripe may set its own cookies on its checkout pages for fraud prevention.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your account and content while your account is active. Books you delete are removed from our database. If you ask us to delete your account, we'll delete your account and content, except records we must keep for legal, tax, or accounting reasons (such as payment records).

6. Your choices and rights

You can delete individual books in your studio at any time. To access, correct, export, or delete your personal information or your account, email us at jasonm@youraipros.com. Depending on where you live (for example, California or the EU/UK), you may have additional rights under local law, and we'll honor valid requests.

7. Security

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and hashed passwords. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. You must be 18 or older to make a purchase. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

9. Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date above. For significant changes, we'll notify you by email or in the Service.
